The Ourense Entroido Triangle

The Ourense Entroido Triangle is one of the most recognised and in-demand carnival routes in northern Spain. It brings together three unique celebrations known for their authenticity, tradition and continuity: Xinzo de Limia, Verín and Laza.

Each of these Entroidos has its own strong identity, yet together they form a complete experience that allows visitors to truly understand Galician carnival over several days.

 Xinzo de Limia
Considered one of the longest carnivals in Europe, the Entroido of Xinzo de Limia stands out for its extended calendar and constant presence in the streets.
It is the ideal starting point of the Triangle, with a continuous atmosphere and strong local participation throughout the carnival period.

 Verín
The Entroido of Verín is defined by the Cigarrón, one of the most iconic figures of Galician carnival.
It is a well-structured celebration with clearly defined key moments and a high level of involvement from the local community.

 Laza
Laza represents the most ancestral and ritual side of the Entroido.
It is one of the oldest carnivals in Galicia, intense in character and deeply connected to local history and traditions.

A well-established route
The Entroido Triangle proposal, reflected in the featured image, represents a well-established route designed to experience carnival with continuity, local knowledge and careful organisation.

Each year, this experience attracts high demand, making early planning essential to ensure availability.
